Seed songs is a collection of 25 beat starters, for you to draw inspiration from, sample, chop, or loop outright. Composed by Wal Martian, these seed songs were created with a variety of digital and true analog synthesizers from brands like Oberheim, Waldorf, Studio Electronics, and Yamaha. Wal Martian’s dark, cinematic, melancholy melodies were recorded through a vintage mixing console to add analog warmth and punch. We’ve provided the BPM for each seed song and taken out most of the percussion, so you can easily align these tracks to a grid in any DAW and fertilize them with your own drum sounds, to let them grow into something truly unique.
